Group therapy can help you heal faster. It helps you to feel less alone in your struggles and learn from others who are also struggling in a similar way to you. In group therapy not only do you get to see that other people are struggling in the same way that you are but you can also learn what has helped them.  You get to see how the skills that you all, are learning can be applied in different ways.

Therapy groups are particularly helpful for kids and teens because it allows them to see that others struggle in the same way that they do. Groups that focus on certain times of life or certain transitions can be particularly helpful for adults. 

Not only do you get to connect with others going through the same thing but you get to learn from them as well.

Children’s Therapy Groups

Social-Emotional Skills Group for Kids

In this therapy group for kids aged 8-10 about each different emotion and what it feels like in our bodies and our minds.  We will also learn different ways to cope with these feelings when they start to feel overwhelming.

Teen Therapy Groups 

Teen ADHD Group

In this group teens with ADHD learn about how their ADHD might be impacting their lives.  The focus will be on teaching them how to work with their own brains so that they can be as successful as possible academically and socially.  This group is particularly helpful because it helps teens to feel less alone when they might feel isolated with their struggles.

Teen Anxiety Group

In this group teens who might be experiencing anxiety explore their anxiety and ways to cope with it when it becomes too much.  This group will learn how to manage anxiety and cope with stress while also exploring tools like mindfulness and stress management.

Group Therapy For Adults

Women’s Divorce Support Group

Join other women who are also going through divorce to support each other through this difficult transition. Break the isolation of feeling like you are the only one and learn different ways to cope with the stress and grief that you are experiencing.
